Annual Education Conference
The NALP Annual Education Conference is the premier event bringing together law school and legal employer members each spring for four days of plenary and concurrent educational programs. Topics addressed include career counseling, entry-level and lateral recruiting, lawyer and law student professional development, inclusion, and more. The conference also features a range of opportunities for employer and law school members to network, including numerous meals, receptions, wellness activities, and NALP Section meetings. Conference registration includes admission to NALP’s Resource Center, a showcase of useful products and services for the profession.

Newer Professionals' Forum
The NALP Newer Professionals’ Forum is is specifically focused on the needs of newer legal recruitment, career services, lawyer PD, and inclusion professionals. This one-of-a-kind program provides two-and-a-half days of intensive, information-packed programming for those with less than four years of experience in our field. NPF also provides an opportunity for participants to build a solid professional network that will add to their effectiveness within their organizations.

Note: Faculty for the Newer Professionals’ Forum are selected each year by NALP’s President, and conference programming is reviewed regularly by the NALP staff in collaboration with the Board of Directors. Professional Development Institute
The NALP Professional Development Institute is for those involved in any aspect of lawyer training and professional development. This two-day program takes place in early December and features cutting-edge information on professional development topics. Participants explore successful practices with professional development experts; increase their knowledge and skills in lawyer training and development; and build invaluable connections with colleagues.

Legal Recruiting Summit
The Legal Recruiting Summit is an opportunity for legal recruiting professionals to come together for an in-depth look at the future of law firm recruiting and how law firms and law schools are responding to the new normal. This conference, tailored specifically to the legal recruiting community, is a members-only event limited to 250 attendees.

Lateral Recruiting Summit
This one-day conference brings together law firm recruiters from around the country to learn more about the exploding lateral hiring market for both associates and partners. Topics include working effectively with search firms, best practices in lateral hiring and integration, hiring diverse lateral candidates, and more.
