Please participate in NALP's 2026 Survey of Legal Career Professionals in Law Firms and Employer Organizations. This biennial survey collects information that is the basis for the only comprehensive benchmarking resource on salaries, job duties, and other topics related to U.S.-based legal career professionals. But a useful report on these topics, with accurate and detailed analyses — for example, by geographic area — is possible only if you complete the survey.

Because this survey collects individual job responsibility and salary data, we encourage every NALP member working at a U.S. employer organization to complete the survey. Please also share the survey link with colleagues in similar roles at your organization, even if they are not NALP members.

The survey is available online through Friday, May 8, 2026.

A separate survey for Canadian legal career professionals will be administered later this spring/early summer. Individuals working at law schools should not participate. A separate law school survey will be administered in 2027.
